Zoom Court Hearing For Tampa Teen Twitter Hacker Interrupted By Naughty Video
ZOOM COURT HEARING INTERRUPTED – The virtual court hearing for the Tampa Teen accused of hacking several high-profile Twitter accounts was put to a halt.
Amidst the hearing on Wednesday morning, a “not safe for work” video was played in the background. Along with this, rap music also played in an attempt to interrupt the court hearing. However, it still wasn’t clear who was responsible for the hi-jack.
According to a report from WTSP, the teen was identified as Graham Clark, a 17-year-old who faced charges for “scamming people across America”. Clark, along with three other individuals hacked the accounts of personalities such as SpaceX founder, Elon Musk and former President Barack Obama.
Following the short interruption, the hearing continued with Clark pleading “not guilty” to the charges. Previously, the teen was charged $750,000 for bail with his lawyers attempting to lower the bond. However, Judge Christopher Nash denied the motion to reduce the amount.
After the hacking, another Zoom court hearing would be held on October 7, at 1:30 p.m., this time, in a more-secure, password-protected meeting.
Hillsborough State Attorney Andrew Warren stated that the teen hacker faced 30 charges for his scams. As per the report, Warren added:
“These crimes were perpetrated using the names of famous people and celebrities, but they’re not the primary victims here. This ‘Bit-Con’ was designed to steal money from regular Americans from all over the country, including here in Florida. This massive fraud was orchestrated right here in our backyard, and we will not stand for that“.
