In addition to the World Teachers’ Day celebrations, the municipality of Bongabon in Nueva Ecija has also declared a suspension of both classes and work at all levels. This is in observance of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the town’s patron saint. The local government has decided to provide the community with a day off to participate in religious and cultural activities honoring St. Francis, a revered figure known for his devotion to the environment and simple living.

Students and workers affected by the suspensions are advised to take note of these announcements and use the time to celebrate, reflect, and give gratitude to their teachers and community leaders.

For further updates and additional announcements regarding possible suspensions in other areas, follow your local government’s official channels and social media pages.
