Mark your calendars and prepare your leave requests, as Malacañang has declared five holidays this coming April 2025.

On March 20, 2025, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that April 1 will be a regular holiday nationwide in observance of Eid’l-Fitr, the Islamic celebration marking the end of Ramadan.

Additionally, Proclamation No. 727 declares April 9 as a regular holiday to commemorate Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor). The following week will also see consecutive holidays for Maundy Thursday on April 17 and Good Friday on April 18, both of which are part of the Holy Week observance.

To complete the long weekend, April 19 — also known as Black Saturday — has been declared a special non-working holiday, giving Filipinos an extended period for rest and reflection.
