Saudi Arabia Promised To Pay the Wages and Benefits of Stranded OFW’s

Saudi Arabia promised to pay the back wages and the benefits of stranded OFW’s. The stranded Filipino workers on Saudi Arabia will claim their remaining salary that was not able to pay by their employer.

In Ministry of Labor in Riyadh, Saudi Labor Minister Saad Alhoqubani said that he already assigned lawyers to the affected OFW”s to assure that they can claim their money. Saudi officials also remind 3 options for the Filipino who lose their jobs including the employees from Saudi Oger.

• First, they could transfer to other company while waiting for their back wages and benefits to claim.
• Second, they are allowed to go back in the Philippines and assign someone to claim their benefits
• Third, they can continue to work on their previous company while waiting for their back wages.
