Lady senator said, “hindi po totoo yung sex video na ‘yan”
After denying that she is involved in illegal drugs trade especially, protecting the bigtime drug personalities inside the New Bilibid Prison, Senator Leila de Lima also denied that she is the woman in the viral pictures which was taken from a sex video.
The sex tape allegedly featuring the former Justice Secretary was first raised by whistleblower Sandra Cam in 2014 during De Lima’s confirmation hearing before the Commission on Appointments.
In this picture, the woman is wearing eye glasses and having a bed scene with a male whom information revealed that he is the driver-lover of the senator.
On Saturday (Aug. 20), de Lima held a press conference in Quezon City where she denied all the allegations thrown against her by President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Masakit din yung mga tungkol sa mga personal na buhay na kinokontsa ka bilang babae, at tignan n’yo rine-revive na naman ang so-called alleged sex video na ‘yan,” De Lima said.
De Lima had then stated that it was a fake, but did not deign to file a complaint against Cam.
She said that since it was floated by Cam, the alleged sex video would always come up whenever she is investigating high-profile cases.
“I noticed, every time I’m in the middle of something, a high-profile investigation, a high-profile case, na ako ang nasa sentro, nilalabas nila ang so-called alleged sex video na ‘yan. Magpapa-text blast sila,” De Lima said.
The senator once again found herself being shamed by the alleged sex tape following President Rodrigo Duterte’s allegation that she was having an affair with his driver and that they were both involved in the illegal drug trade.
De Lima said she was not convinced that the sex video exists in the first place.
“Nakita n’yo na ho ba yung sex video na ‘yan? Meron bang sex video? Sabi ng aking staff ang nakita nila is parang still, still photo of what is being made to appear as a video,” De Lima said.
“Sabi ng staff ko if I may share, in-examine daw nila nang husto yung picture na ‘yan, halata naman daw na hindi ako yung babae dun,” she added.
According to the female senator, Ronnie Dayan, her driver-bodyguard, resigned as his staff at the Department of Justice last year.
