Unacceptable Passport Delay Grace Poe Said To DFA
Unacceptable passport delay Senator Grace Poe said to Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) that affects thousands of applicants.
An immediate solution was urged by Senator Grace Poe to DFA regarding then processing delays on passports by thousands of applicants for waiting about two months for passport application was just “Unacceptable”.
The time span given to the passport applicants were too long and aside from the waiting period is too long. They also failed to receive their confirmation code thru email as to the date of the electronic appointment. Regarding this issue, the complaint of the applicants has already reached to the senator’s office.
“This has been one of the problems of the DFA for years now which results in missed opportunities for (Filipinos) wanting to visit their families abroad, those seeking for immediate medical treatment and especially aspiring overseas Filipino workers who have to wait for several days just to get this most basic document required of every Filipino in this age of globalization,” said by Poe quoted by Inquirer.
