The forecast indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. These conditions are attributed to localized thunderstorms. Despite the generally calm weather, severe thunderstorms could still bring possible flash floods or landslides in certain areas. The public is urged to remain vigilant, especially during periods of intense rainfall.
Wind and Coastal Water Conditions:
- The whole country will experience light to moderate winds coming from the Southeast to the Southwest. Coastal waters are forecast to have slight to moderate conditions, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.1 meters. Seafarers and those engaged in coastal activities are advised to take necessary precautions given the variable weather conditions.
Regional Forecasts:
- Visayas, Palawan (including Kalayaan Islands), and Occidental Mindoro are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. Winds in these areas will also be light to moderate, accompanied by slight to moderate sea conditions.
- In Extreme Northern Luzon, where the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) and Cagayan Valley are situated, the southwest monsoon will influence the weather, bringing isolated showers.
