Shroud Of Turin New Study Revealed Amazing Result
Shroud of Turin, known to be the “cloth” that covered the body of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo resulted with the same person covered with, Jesus.
Dr. Manuel Miñarro, a sculptor professor at the University of Seville, performed the research as part of a project sponsored by “The Spanish Center of Sindonology” in Valencia, Spain.
The study supports that the two cloths came from the same historical person, who according to tradition, was Jesus of Nazareth.
Known to many, the Shroud of Turin was considered the linen that covered the body of Jesus when he was placed in the tomb, on the other hand, the Sudarium would have been the cloth used to cover Jesus’ face after He di3d.
According to the Gospel, both cloths were found by Apostles Peter and John in the tomb.
Though not yet final, the study doesn’t really prove that the person was Jesus Christ Himself, but does a great help in connecting such events.
The investigation has found that the two relics “far exceeds the minimum number of proofs or significant points required by most judicial systems around the world to identify a person.”
Following the recent results of the investigation, with proper research and care, the coincidences demonstrated with the two cloths “are such that now it is very difficult to think that they came from two different persons.”, said Jorge Manuel Rodrigues, CES president.
He also said that, “we have come to a point where it seems absurd to suggest that ‘by happenstance’ all of the wounds, lesions and coincidences on both cloths… Logic requires that we conclude that we are speaking of the same person.”
