Anne Curtis Calls Out Attention Of Siargao Officials Due To This Reason

Anne Curtis called out the attention of the LGU in Siargao because of what she saw in the post of S.E.A Movement on Instagram.

‘It’s Showtime’ host Anne Curtis recently posted on her Twitter account a call out to all the government officials of Siargao.

The surfing capital of the Philippines caught the attention of the Kapamilya actress when she saw the post from the Instagram story of Sea Movement.

The post of Anne featured two IG stories showing photos of garbage bins over spilling with wastes at the area of Cloud 9.

In a previous article, one netizen pointed out that Department of Tourism Undersecretary Kat De Castro should look also to the waste management problem in the island aside from the traumatic experience that Karen Davila and her family had there just recently.

In line with the problem in garbage at the surfing capital of the Philippines, Anne Curtis also expressed her concern in the environmental situation there.

The Kapamilya actress said that she hopes that establishments in the beautiful island should start using reusable utensils in order to lessen the wastes.

She also called out to the Local Government Unit of Siargao to imposed the proper waste disposal in the island.

The variety show host also had a reminder to all the visitors.

“To all the visitors, leave only footprints,” Anne said on her post.

She even used the island’s dialect in pleading, “Palihug”.

On the Instagram account of S.E.A. Movement, the organization’s main aim is to keep the surfing capital of the country clean and green.

The movement conducts clean up drives all over the island and asking for the help of everyone in order to maintain the cleanliness in the area.
