Philippine Weather Forecast – March 14, 2026

The weather conditions across the Philippines continue to be influenced by the Northeast Monsoon, locally known as the Amihan. At present, there are no Low Pressure Areas (LPA) being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation, indicating generally stable weather conditions across the country.

Weather Today

Several areas in the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas will experience more cloud cover today due to the persistent monsoon winds. The Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Dinagat Islands are expected to have cloudy skies accompanied by light rains. These rains are directly associated with the Northeast Monsoon, bringing moist air from the Pacific Ocean. Despite the cloudiness and occasional rainfall, no significant impacts such as flooding or landslides are expected in these areas. Residents may simply experience cooler temperatures and damp conditions throughout parts of the day.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will generally experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. These brief rain showers may occur at any time of the day but are expected to be light and short-lived. Overall, the weather will remain relatively calm and manageable, making outdoor activities still possible with minimal disruptions.

Wind and coastal water conditions vary across different parts of the archipelago. Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and the Visayas will experience strong northeast winds. These winds are expected to generate rough coastal waters, with wave heights ranging from about 2.8 to 4.0 meters. Mariners and small fishing vessels are advised to exercise caution or avoid venturing out to sea if possible due to potentially hazardous conditions.

In the eastern section of Mindanao, winds will range from moderate to strong coming from the north to northeast. Coastal waters in these areas will also be moderate to rough, with wave heights between 2.5 and 4.0 meters.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have moderate to strong northeast winds with coastal waters ranging from moderate to rough, with waves measuring approximately 1.2 to 3.4 meters.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will experience lighter conditions, with light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to north. Coastal waters there will be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.

For the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM yesterday, the minimum temperature recorded was 23.3°C at 6:00 AM, while the maximum temperature reached 29.9°C at 2:00 PM. Relative humidity ranged from a minimum of 46% at 2:00 PM to a maximum of 85% at 2:00 AM, reflecting cooler and more humid early morning conditions typical during the Northeast Monsoon season.
