A netizen recently responded on Kapamilya Online World (KOW)’s post regarding Sulli (Choi Jinri)’s death last Monday. He said that KOW removed his watermark over his photo and not giving proper credits to it.
Ecko Kim, a fan of Korean artists, made a fan-photo as a way of sharing his sympathy towards Sulli. He began his post by stating Sulli’s statement.
“Rest in Peace Beautiful Angel #RestInPeaceSulli” Ecko Kim said in a post. His post reached 13,000 shares and 14,000 reactions.
Two hours after his post, Kapamilya Online World, an entertainment Facebook page with over one million likes, posted an article and attached Ecko Kim’s edited photo on the post. The caption were also identical to the original post.
After five hours, Kim responded to KOW’s photo for not giving proper credits to his edited photo. He posted a comment regarding KOW’s post.
“Pati yung photo na edit ko halos hindi ko na makita yung watermark na name ko kase inedit niyo pa ng walang pahintulot ng owner,” Kim said in a comment.
Translate: “Even though I edited this photo, I can’t almost see my name on the watermark because you (referring to Kapamilya Online World) edit it without having permission from the owner.”
Netizens reacted and replied on his comment regarding KOW’s post. His comment reached 476 reactions and 67 comments. Kapamilya Online World took down their post after few hours.
