Orola siblings Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr. and Dr. Elizabeth Orola-Salabas, EdD., received honorary doctorate degrees from The Royal Institution of Singapore during its 15th Global Congress & Conferment Ceremony in Bali, Indonesia last November 7-9.
The Orola siblings were recognized by the Royal Institution of Singapore on the strength of their professional experiences and academic achievements in their chosen profession.
Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr. was recognized by the said institution for having successfully fulfilled the requirements for the membership, his exemplary achievements, distinguished expertise, remarkable services, contributions to society, meritorious professional experiences, and academic achievements as an educational leader, lawyer, legislator, public administrator, global transformational leader, and Philanthropist.
Dr. Elizabeth Orola-Salabas, EdD., was also recognized by the said institution for her meritorious professional experiences and academic achievements.
The Royal Institution of Singapore, according to its website, is “the umbrella organization of more than 300 Royal Institutes of various disciplines and professions which are all duly registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore.“
Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr. received an honorary doctorate on Public Administration from the Royal Institution, and Dr. Elizabeth Orola-Salabas, EdD. received an honorary doctorate on Education.
The Doctor Fellow, according to VMA Global College and Training Centers, Incorporated, was “the highest and the most prestigious honorific lifetime award and title bequeathed by the Royal Institution,” and thus, “entitling them to use honorary title’s FDr (Fellow Doctor) before their names, and suffixes DFRIPAr (for Atty. Juan N. Orola Jr.) and DFRIEdr (for Dr. Elizabeth Orola-Salabas, EdD.) after their family names.“
Other local and international professionals also received professional titles of Doctor Fellow, Senior Fellow, Fellow, Senior Member and Member of various professional Royal Institutes of the Royal Institution. The theme for its 15th Global Congress & Conferment Ceremony was “Global Leadership and Its Impact on Sustainable Development“.
