Senior high school student of VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc., one of the maritime schools in Bacolod City, went viral after selling lumpia and siomai inside their campus.
In a Facebook post on November 15 from Lourenze Kent Necesario Apelo, he shared photos of the said senior high school student selling lumpia and siomai to his schoolmates. The said post already has 4,800 reactions, 390 comments, and 3,800 shares as of this writing. The person behind the viral photo was Joshua Mifa, a Grade 12 STEM-Maritime student of the said school in Bacolod City.
“Ako po si Joshua Mifa, Grade 12 STEM-Maritime from VMA Global College, Bacolod City. Hindi po ako nahihiyang magbenta ng lumpia at siomai sa school ‘pag wala akong pasok para lang may pambayad ako ng tuition. Gagawin ko ang lahat ng mabuting paraan para makatapos at magkaroon ng magandang bukas,” Joshua said.
“Naawa na rin kasi ako sa mama ko na todo kayod para sa akin. Sana magsilbi itong inspirasyon sa iba na nawalan ng pag-asang abutin ang pangarap sa buhay. Thank you po!” he added.
Earlier, Adrian Prietos posted a live video while Joshua was busy on accommodating his customers inside the campus. In this video, a lot of students went to Joshua just to buy lumpia and siomai.
