Why Sue Ramirez is afraid of playing third wheel to KathNiel.
Teen actress Sue Ramirez shared the reasons why she was hesitant to play third wheel role to the popular love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, dubbed by their fans as “KathNiel.”
In an interview with “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” the “Dolce Amore” star said that she had second thoughts on auditioning for “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” because of Padilla and Bernardo, noting that are already big stars.
“Noong una po, nag second thoughts ako on auditioning for it kasi na takot po ako kasi ang laki laki po ng KathNiel eh. And ‘yong fans nila, grabe po ‘yong pagmamahal sa kanila,” she said.
The 19-year-old Kapamilya star said that she was afraid that their fans might not like her. She also admitted that she was afraid to be bashed by KathNiel fans.
“Baka hindi ako magustuhan, and dami pong factors na kailangan kong i-consider. Baka hindi nila ako magustuhan, ‘yon ‘yong una, and siyempre hindi po maalis ang bashers” she continued.
Sue Ramirez said that she continued the audition because of her management and family’s motivation.
Meanwhile, Ramirez also speaks up about playing the third wheel to Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
According to the Ramirez, she has worked with the both stars before, so she doesn’t find it awkward working with them in the series.
“Dolce Amore,” which stars Soberano and Gil, airs from Mondays to Fridays on ABS-CBN primetime block.
