Teacher Found Dead Inside Own Home In Himamaylan, Negros Occidental
TEACHER FOUND DEAD – Even amid a global pandemic, tragedy struck a poor teacher who was killed inside her own home in a village in Negros Occidental.
Because of the pandemic, teachers and student are having a hard time adjusting to the new blended learning system. Sadly, even with all these problems stacked against the educators, there were still sinister forces acting despite the health crisis.
According to an article from Inquirer, the 55-year-old teacher was found dead inside her home in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
Furthermore, the victim was identified as Cecilia Adorador from Aguisan Elementary School who suffered head injuries. Based on report from police investigations, the victim was by herself in her room. Afterward, two suspects reportedly forced their way inside through a window.
As per the article, the victim was then said to have been hit in the head with dumbbells. Along with this, Maj. Romeo Vargas, Himamaylan City police officer-in-charge said her body was found by her nephew, bloodied all over her face and head.
The authorities added that Adorador’s home was ransacked with her personal belongings scattered across the house. Meanwhile, police said they are still determining the amount of money and value of jewelry taken by the suspects.
Unfortunately, no amount of money can bring back the slain educator. Currently, police are still investigating the incident with the suspects still at large.
