Willie Revillame To Donate P5 Million To Jeepney Drivers Affected By COVID-19
WILLIE REVILLAME DONATES P5 MILLION – Wowowin Host Willie Revillame announced he would donate P5 million to jeepney drivers whose lives were severely affected by COVID-19.
According to a report from Philippine Star, Revillame said he would also give away P100,000 to each of the families of the four OFWs who were killed in the Beirut Blast. The TV host considered to be one of the richest names in showbiz had also previously donated to help those in need amid the pandemic.
Back in March, the Wowowin host donated P1 million to frontliners to be used in buying much-need Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for our frontliners. Additionally, the show’s sponsors also donated another million along with medical supplies like face masks.
According to a report from Kami, Revillame quipped:
“Wag kayong mag-alala, hindi po dito natitigil ang pagtulong namin… Kung pwede naman po na tumulong kami, tumulong tayong lahat… Gumagawa kami ng paraan kahit na nandito kami ngayon sa Puerto Galera.”
Following his latest donation, netizens lauded the host for his kind-heartedness amid the coronavirus pandemic. Here are some of the comments from Netizens.
