Darren Espanto Reveals Truth If He’s “Bakla” & His Gender During Vlog
DARREN ESPANTO REVEALS TRUTH – Ever since he was on The Voice Kids, Darren has been questioned about his gender.
Naturally, Darren being the powerhouse vocalist that he is, had a high pitched voice when he was a kid. But, that’s just what kids have. Still, even as he grew up, Darren still had critics that question him regarding his sexuality.
But, during the latest vlog of his close friend, Kyle Echarri, Darren finally puts a stop to all the rumors and reveals the truth. According to Echarri, he wanted to clarify the issues regarding his friend, Darren in a more serious approach.
Meanwhile, when asked regarding this issue, the singer said:
How do I deal with those people? You know what, just don’t mind them. Kasi sa industriyang ginagawalan natin, we’re always going to run into people like that — especially bashers. Kasama ‘yan sa mundo ng showbiz. I personally don’t mind them
However, Darren emphasized in the vlog that despite singing songs for girls in The Voice and even with a high voice, he wanted everybody to know that he’s straight.
A lot of people are like ‘bakla ‘yan kasi …’. Ever since The Voice Kids, when I started singing songs for girls or like I have a high voice in general they always assume my sexual preference pretty much. But I’d like to let everyone know that I’m straight
