Taylor’s on top as she is the world’s top earning celebrity with $170 Million over the past year thus giving her the No. 1 spot on the 2016 Forbes Celebrity 100 list.
The Forbes magazine announced that Taylor Swift is the worlds highest-paid celebrity last Monday, July 11, 2016. She is in the number one spot in the full ranking of the top-earning entertainers on the planet.
Taylor Swift takes the spot of being the highest paid celebrity from June 2015 to June 2016 of her career.
According to the Forbes magazine, Swift’s huge earnings were largely credited to her “1989 World Tour” where she earned the highest grossing of $200 million on the continent en route to a quarter of a billion worldwide.
Allowing her 1989 album to stream on Apple’s service last year, she got the spot to be the top as her massive earnings and along with her other high-profile endorsements.
Taylor also out earned other famous celebrity like the One Direction who earned $110 million and got the number two and Adele who earned $80.5 million.
With her highest grossing North American concert that grossed about almost $250 million in tickets worldwide, she also got the top rank as top-earning musicians earlier this year according to the Billboard‘s magazine.
The 26-year-old pop diva doubled her earnings for the previous year which totaled $80 million USD and replaced Katty Perry who was the highest-paid musician last year.
In addition to touring that lifted her career as the number one worlds highest paid musician, Taylor also thanked Diet Coke, Keds and Apple for substantial endorsements.
