Adam Levine announced the postponement of Maroon 5’s upcoming gigs and concert for him to better prepare for fatherhood.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has rescheduled some of their upcoming concerts to prepare for fatherhood.
Adam made the announcement of the postponement of their concerts and gigs through his Instagram account, two weeks before his model wife Behati Prinsloo gives birth.
The 37-year-old singer said in a statement on the band’s website, “Even when you think you’ve planned everything perfectly sometimes life just kinda happens. Soon Behati and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I’m sure you all understand, I need to be there but unfortunately this means some of Maroon 5’s upcoming shows need to be rescheduled”.
“I know this might present an inconvenience to our fans out there and I apologize for this. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring”.
The 27-year-old Victoria’s Secret supermodel is due to give birth on September 20.
But along with his announcement, Adam apologized to all Maroon 5 fans who were already excited to see them rock the stage.
“Sadly, it’s par for the course with having a baby soon, it’s life, and it’s beautiful, but it can be complicated. And I apologize for any inconvenience”, Adam said on his Instagram post.
But the frontman assured their fans that the group will be back and hoped that they shall get the same support from the fanatics.
“We hope you guys can go to the shows, they’ll be just as great”.
Adam and Behati are expecting a baby girl.
The official website of Maroon 5 confirmed that the concerts in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Milwaukee will be rescheduled to February and March of 2017. All tickets for these rescheduled dates will be honored by the venue organizers.
The Maroon 5 kicked off their US tour on Saturday in Texas and will finish for a two-week break on September 19, a day before Behat’s due date.
The band will resume their tour duties on October 3 in St. Louis, Missouri.
