Ana Capri Allegedly Molested in a Club in Taguig.
Actress Ana Capri filed a complaint on NBI after she was allegedly molested in a club last Tuesday at The Fort Taguig, becoming emotional as she faced the media to share what happened.
Capri earlier took to Instagram her story about what happened to her while she is in the popular bar ranting over how she was disappointed over the management of the club for doing nothing after she reported the incident.
“Sorry guys for ranting like this. As much as i would like to put it behind me. I’m terribly still bothered with what happened to me this past weekend. I went to Pool Palace Club to have some fun but got traumatized instead.” she posted.
The actress stood firm that she was sexually harassed and got physically assaulted.
“I got sexually harrased and got physically assaulted for defending myself. I asked help from their security and received a run around instead. I feel bothered, violated, insulted, and betrayed. I just cannot be quiet about this.#poolpalace” she added.
In facing the media, Capri revealed that she was charging her phone when a Chinese VIP walked towards her and touched her. She asked the man who was supposedly drunk and eventually slapped him.
Capri added that the man slapped her in return. She then asked for security and was advised to stay outside and wait, however, was dismayed seeing how the VIP was escorted to his car.
However, Capri don’t have the name of the VIP to which the club refused to give. For a record, she is suing the VIP with alleged acts of lasciviousness. She already asked the help of the NBI.
She also revealed to the authority that she was not given the copy of the CCTV footage during the incident when she asked for it as evidence.
Following Capri’s complaint, the Palace Pool Club released an official statement regarding the issue.
“At approximately 4Am of April 3, 2016 a male guest allegedly touched Ms. Ana Capri’s behind in the Palace Pool Club that made Ms. Capri slap the unnamed male. In retaliation, the unnamed male slapped Ms. Capri back. This is when the Palace ecurity force stepped in and separated the two parties…” it said.
The club denied the allegation of Capri that they escorted the unnamed man. The insisted that they just separated the two to avoid further conflict.
In the case, the club reassured that the unnamed man will be permanently banned from the Palace. They are also willing to help the actress and the authority if their cooperation is neede.
Meanwhile, several netizens took to her social media to extend their word of encouragement to the actress, all hoping that she will get the justice she deserves.
