Ana Jalandoni Forgives Kit Thompson After Controversial Mauling Incident
Actress-model Ana Jalandoni said that she forgives former boyfriend Kit Thompson after the controversial mauling incident.
Ana and her previous lover were involved in a dramatic incident in a hotel two months ago. Ana was allegedly locked up in a hotel by Kit and physically assaulted, according to a previous account.
Apart from two counts of violence against women, Ana and her legal team have filed two more allegations against Kit: frustrated homicide and wrongful detention. However, the 25-year-old actress said in a previous interview that she still loves Kit and is willing to forgive him, but that he must face the consequences of his actions.
Ana has already forgiven Kit, according to ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe. The sultry actress stated she’s learnt to let go of her feelings for the actor, claiming that carrying grudges won’t help her.
“Wala naman po akong galit. Ni-let go, and let God ko na po ‘yun. Gusto ko na rin po mag-start para sa sarili ko. Hindi rin po makakatulong sa ‘kin kung may galit ako sa puso ko. Alam ko po may mapupuntahan na maayos ang lahat,” said Ana in an ABS-CBN report.
Ana went on to say that forgiveness was an important part of her healing process. “I learned kasi to choose na magpatawad kasi ‘yun naman ‘yung tamang paraan para maka-move on, para maumpisahan ‘yung bagong buhay na gusto ko,” she said.
