Blaster Silonga Slams Negative Campaigning Accusation vs VP Leni Robredo
OPM singer Blaster Silonga reacts to the accusation of netizens that VP Leni Robredo is indulging in “negative campaigning”.
Former member of OPM band IV of Spades turned to social media to express his displeasure with their presidential candidate. He refutes suggestions that Robredo was defeated due to “negative campaigning.”
He questioned the son of a dictator who had committed several human rights atrocities would win. He emphasized that despite being quiet and not attending the debate, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr might win.
“Kaya natalo si Leni dahil sa negative campaining niya. Sayang dapat pala naging anak nalang siya ng Dictator na maraming human rights violation tapos nanahimik nalang siya at hindi nagattend ng debate baka nanalo pa siya kung ganon,” he said.
Aside from that, the musician questioned social media influence and actress Alex Gonzaga-call Morada’s for everyone who is upset about the election to get along. Silonga stepped up once more and retweeted Alex’s inquiry, “Seryoso ka ba?”
Many internet users speculated that what he was hearing was former senator Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos, Jr., the current frontrunner in partial and unofficial election results. Meanwhile, the Vice President stated her hope that her supporters will not regret joining the campaign and contributing whatever they can.
Robredo told her fans that “we feel what you’re feeling,” and encouraged them to use their anguish, anger, and desperation to help others. She stated that her followers may use it for anything “that would further separate us” or for bringing about new improvements.
