Meanwhile, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte maintained his lead in the latest presidential survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS) despite his post-controversial remark.
Just recently, the PDP-Laban standard-bearer drew flak on various social media platforms and was heavily criticized by women’s groups and the church and other presidential contenders over his controversial remark to an incident that happened in 1989 which involved an Australian missionary named Jacqueline Hamill.
But in a latest SWS survey, Duterte dominated in the presidential survey with 33 percent despite he drew massive negative criticism over his remark that even caught the attention of international media platforms.
Sen. Grace Poe on the other hand landed on the second spot with 24 percent while Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas landed on the third place after garnering 19 percent survey rating.
Vice President Jejomar Binay with 14 percent clinched on the fourth spot while Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago is still on the last place upon earning only 2 percent.
