They started as co-hosts in the Kapamilya noontime show ‘It’s Showtime’ but there were episodes that Billy along with the rest of the gang gave hints to the audience that indeed there is something going on with the couple.
One episode showed that Billy was asking if ever he has a chance to be the boyfriend of Coleen which was just simply answered by the latter with a sweet smile.

Just like any other relationship, Billy and Coleen also faced with hardships. It was not a smooth-sailing journey given the fact that Billy came from a controversial break up with former girlfriend singer/actress Nikki Gil.
Since the couple started seeing each other in 2013, there had been nasty rumors being thrown unto them.
There were speculations that Coleen was the third party why Billy and Nikki broke up.
On the other hand, Billy cleared out that Coleen had nothing to do with what happened to his relationship with Nikki but he admitted that it was his fault.
