This is how PGT 2018 champ Kristel de Catalina will spend her 2 million pesos grand prize
‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ 2018 grand winner Kristel de Catalina shared how she will spend her cash prize amounting to 2 million pesos.
The recently concluded PGT grand finals gave an amazing opportunity to the spiral pole dancer to showcase her talent which led her to be this year’s champ.
Based on the report in ABS-CBN’s Entertainment section, the cash prize of Kristel will be spent for the education expenses of her son.
“Ii-invest ko po para sa pag-aaral ng anak ko. Seven years old pa lang po siya, so maraming pa pong gagastusin ‘yung P2 million na ‘yun,” the 32-year old mother said.
Her answer is no surprise because as her final performance, she used a colorful visuals of a mother and child. A true indication that her performance that night is for her son.
The love of Kristel de Catalina towards her son was even confirmed through her statement during an interview after she won the PGT 2018 grand prize.
She was asked who is her inspiration that gives her strength to have a wonderful performance during the talent search’s grand finals.
“Number one po siyempre ang anak ko, at mga mahal ko sa buhay na naniniwala sa aking talento. At siyempre ang Panginoong Diyos na nagbigay ng talentong ito,” the champ said.
As the receiver of Vice Ganda’s sole golden buzzer which brought her straight to semi-finals during the audition, Kristel also shared her thoughts about it.
She said that the comedian judge of PGT made the right decision when he pressed the golden buzzer for her because she was able to show to the whole world that she can do the challenges given to her.
The PGT champ also said that she is ready to work harder for the challenges that accompany the opportunity given to her, based on the source.
