Here’s the answer of the manager of Maine Mendoza regarding the billionaire and Darna issue
Rams David, the manager of Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza, answered the rumors that his talent is now a billionaire and that she auditioned for Darna.
The name of Maine surfaced as one of the fans’ chosen actresses to play the iconic role of the Pinay superhero. Although the movie is under Star Cinema, the film franchise of ABS-CBN, there are several names from the Kapuso network that surfaced. Among them are Maine Mendoza, Sanya Lopez, and Bianca Umali.
In a previous article, Bianca allegedly auditioned for the role without asking permission from her mother network. Her camp has not clarified this issue yet, at the time of the writing.
Meanwhile, Rams David clarified that his talent has not auditioned for the role. Based on the report from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Maine said that there are a lot more deserving actresses in ABS-CBN and that she anticipated that she will just get bashed if she will audition.
Regarding the issue that the Phenomenal Star is already a billionaire now and considered to be the richest young celebrity in the Philippines, the talent manager said that there is no truth to this rumor.
According to Rams, it is not true that Maine has 1.2 billion net worth at the age of 23 and that she surpassed the net worth of Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo and Liza Soberano.
“Hindi walang ganyan. Saan naman nila nakuha ‘yan?,” Rams David said.
However, the talent manager also disproved that Maine Mendoza reduced her talent fee. “It’s not true na nagbaba siya ng talent fee. Puwede ba ‘yun,” the manager said, based on the report.
