According to an article penned by Bandera columnist Ronnie Carrasco III, on the Facebook wall of his cousin, there was a post which was a direct quotation from Alma Moreno. It was a reminder for voters about the recently concluded Barangay and SK Elections.

However, the point that was stressed out in the said post in the grammatical error of Alma’s statement.

By implication, the statement of the actress with “wrong English” was used to call out to voters regarding the candidate that they must not choose.

If the political candidate has poor knowledge in the English language and do not possess communication skills, then that would be it, according to Carrasco.

The said post that ridiculed Alma Moreno received a comment from Kit Quizon, the daughter of Comedy King Dolphy from another woman.

Kit commented, ““Be nice, ladies. Be nice, she’s the mother of my brother.” She was referring to Vandolph who is the son of Dolphy with Alma. Biologically, Kit and Vandolph are siblings.

Without considering all the legalities, the woman who was put to shame by netizens is still the mother of Kit’s brother and so she reacted to it.

The entertainment columnist said that on their part, they commented something nice on the said post about the veteran actress.

According to the article of Carrasco, one good thing about Alma Morena is that she was never pretentious.
