Beauty queen Ariella Arida reacted to the rumor that Wowowin host Willie Revillame courted her.
She was hailed as Miss Universe Philippines 2013 and she was the 3rd runner-up during the international competition on that year.
After that, she entered show business by doing some modeling, hosting and acting stints.
Now, she is part of ABS-CBN’s romantic-comedy series of Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo, the Playhouse.
Previously, she was a part of the Kapuso primetime game show as one of Willie’s co-hosts.
On the other hand, she is no longer doing a hosting stint in the said show. There were rumors that it was because of something romantic happened between them.

She clarified that being a co-host of Willie, having no boyfriend is not a requirement.
“Sa first meeting pa lang namin ni Kuya Wil, tinanong na niya kung may boyfriend ako at hindi naman ako nagsinungaling, inamin ko at natuloy pa rin naman ako sa Wowowin,” Ariella Arida shared.
It goes to show that in the first place everyone in Wowowin knew that she is in a relationship.

That was not the reason also that she is no longer part of the show.
The beauty queen-actress also clarified that Willie Revillame did not court her.

Meanwhile, Ariella Arida is apparently close to former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez. Entertainment columnist Jun Lalin has proven the statement from Ruffa that Ariella is really a nice person.
It is because she immediately granted an interview without prior notice. She even came to the venue abruptly without a driver, based on the article.
