The 25-year old singer is now in stable condition, according to reports.

She is confined at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Demi admitted in a documentary that she first tried using cocaine at the age of 17.

“I felt out of control the first time I did it. My dad was an addict and an alcoholic. Guess I always searched for what he found in drugs and alcohol because it fulfilled him and he chose that over a family,” she said.

In 2010, she went to rehab for the first time but she admitted she is not ready to get sober.

The singer said that she used to sneak drugs on plane, bathrooms and throughout the night.

Demi Lovato’s latest single ‘Sober’ which was released last month has this lyrics: “Mommy, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore. And daddy please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor.”

She ended the song with this line: “I’m sorry that I’m here again, I promise I’ll get help/It wasn’t my intention, I’m sorry to myself.”

It was released after she marked her six years of sobriety in March this year, based on the article.

Last month, she canceled her show in London at O2 Arena. She made the announcement through a tweet hours before the supposed to begin.

The pop singer has been using her music to express her battles with bipolar disorder, bulimia and addiction.
