Glaiza De Castro clarified her previous statement saying that “Fair ba na kaltasan ka ng sweldo pag na-late ka”
Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro previously had a statement that garnered negative reactions.
It was said in a previous article that she posted this on her social media account:
“Fair ba na kaltasan ka ng sweldo pag na-late ka pero sa mahigit 24 oras na pagtatrabaho, wala man lang overtime pay?”
For some it seemed that she is complaining about her own experience. There is an implication that she was talking about her talent fee or someone she knows in showbiz.
It was also mentioned in the previous article that it was not certain if she is referring to the general situation of employment in the country.
However, it seemed there were a lot of people who took her statement negatively.
It is because she posted on her Twitter account on the evening of July 13 to clarify what she previously said.

According to the ‘Contessa’ actress, she wanted to address the issue because she received question from a lot of people if who or what she was referring to.
As a clarification, she said that it was a general statement.
Glaiza added that she was overwhelmed that her statement got response from so many people because the problem she stated is happening to many, especially those who are laborers.
The Kapuso actress also wished that people should not misinterpret her simple question or her statement based on her observation.
She stressed out on her Twitter post that she has no intention to hurt or destruct other people.
Several of the Twitter followers of the Kapuso actress expressed their support to her even before she clarified the issue.
Some said that she did not need to explain while the others agreed to the truthfulness in her statement.
