Hashtag Nikko Natividad on PNP Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa’s statement regarding policemen with tattoo: “Parang sinabi nyo na lahat ng may tattoo masama exconvict”
Hashtag Nikko Natividad of ‘It’s Showtime’ vocally expressed that he contradicts the statement of Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa regarding policemen with tattoo.
It can be recalled that Dela Rosa said that although men with tattoo would perceived that it is an expression of art but for policemen, he said it is something inappropriate.
“Pasensya na sa mga may tattoo ha, alam ko you will invoke your right to express your artistic desires. Sa inyo art, sa amin taboo. Prangkahan tayo… dahil pangit, parang criminal naman tignan ‘di ba, parang sa kulungan puro may tattoo. Parang ex-convict ang pulis ‘pag naka-uniporme na maraming tattoo,” he said in a previous article.
In line with this, Hashtag Nikko, who happens to have tattoos, reacted negative to the statement of the PNP Chief.
Based on the article published in Pinoy Trending, he posted on his Instagram account his opinion contradicting the perception of Dela Rosa.
“Opo madumi po kami. Para po kaming criminal. Salamat po. Sorry po Mr. CLEAN,” Nikko said.
Due to what the Hashtags member posted on social media, many netizens slammed him for not understanding completely the statement of the PNP Chief.
Following that, Nikko posted another blow and this time it is towards those netizens who criticized him for responding negative to the prohibition of PNP to accept applicants with tattoo.
He said, “Ang dami nagalit sa opinion ko. Kesyo baket daw ako nag react e para daw sa pulis yun. Anu ba ang pulis natin? Diba tao sila kailangan din ng respect. May care ako sa lipunan kaya nag react ako.”
Based on the article, Hashtag Nikko added that, “Tanggap ko na requirement nila ang bawat tattoo pero utang na loob wag naman kailangan pa sabihin na madumi at parang kriminal. Panu kung tatay nyo yung magpupulis? O anak nyo? Kapatid nyo o Asawa nyo o kayo mismo. Ano mararamdaman niyo?.”
