Comedian Joey Marquez or Joselito in real life is known for his comedic act and the way he makes her audience life during the height of his hit sitcom ‘Palibhasa Lalake’ with Richard Gomez.

Behind his ability to bring happiness to his audience, there were some points in his life that he went under a controversy, especially when it comes to his relationships.

He was married to actress Alma Morena and they had two children, Yeoj and the Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Wyn Marquez.

After 12 years of being together, their marriage was officially annulled back in 2004. Alma entered into another marriage with Sultan Fahad Salic of Marawi City while Joey remained unwed.

After his marriage ended with Alma, Joey had a relationship with Queen of all Media Kris Aquino. Their relationship was so intimate to the point that they were already living with each other.

However, there was a controversy which rose between them when Kris complained that she experienced maltreatment from the comedian.

Joey Marquez denied all the allegations accused to him by the former presidential daughter and after more than a year, they separated.

Mid of the first decade of 2000, the comedian was reported being together with sexy actress Alicia Mayer.

On the other hand, their relationship did not push through also because according to Alicia, Joey was still seeing his non-showbiz girlfriend before while they were still together.

It was said that the ex-gf of Joey out of showbiz was his relationship after Kris Aquino.

The comedian was also linked to actress Jean Garcia, the woman who almost becomes his ideal wife, according to him. However, that relationship did not prosper also.
