Kakai Bautista Reveals Why She Agreed To Work With “Frenemy” Ahron Villena

Comedienne Kakai Bautista and Ahron Villena have an odd kind of relationship.

For a time, they had been romantically linked to each other but later on, they became enemies.

They fought and exchange fiery words but then it was said that they already reconciled.

On the other hand, Kakai and Ahron starred together in the movie ‘Harry and Patty’ which will be shown on August 1.

So what made the comedienne decide to accept the project with the man who has been her “frenemy”?

Based on the article published in PEP, Kakai Bautista shared the reason why she agreed to do the said movie with Ahron Villena.

She said that she posted on her Instagram account that she thought so many times before she said yes to the project. It is because there was already a certain fear inside her.

This also came from her realization that she gets bashed for many reasons, especially the issues involving her and the actor.

Kakai even said that she asked for a sign from above if she will accept the movie project or not.

Then, she finally said yes to do the movie with her “frenemy”.

Her reason is that she wanted to earn money because there is a specific thing she wanted to buy.

After coming up with this decision, she said to herself, “naisip ko na, di bale na lang, kahit anong sabihin ng mga tao, igo-go ko na ito.”

She also shared that she and Ahron had already fixed the issues between them.

Kakai stressed out that when they started shooting for the movie, they are already okay with each other.

Though she understands that receiving mean comments from other people is part of her life as a celebrity, but the comedienne admitted that she still gets affected.

However, she needed the talent fee to fulfill one of her dreams, based on the article.
