One of the celebrities who entered the field of show business at a very young age is former actress and model Katya Santos. She was part of Oki Doki Doc and Ang TV when she was just 13 years old.
Based on a recent report in GMA News, Katya started as a child star. Later on, she took the plunge to a more mature image.
According to the report, one of the big breaks of Katya Santos in the spotlight was her movie “Sukdulan” with actors Carlo Maceda and Raymond Bagatsing.
Later on, Katya became one of the members of the all-female group Viva Hot Babes. The said girl group is composed of actresses and models.
It was producer Vic del Rosario Jr. who founded Viva Hot Babes. Katya Santos, Maui Taylor, and Andrea del Rosario are the three actresses who led the group.
According to the report, there was also an FHM magazine issue before wherein Katya is the model. She is really one of the in-demand stars in the early 2000s.
During the mid-2000s, Katya Santos’ appearance on television reportedly became unstable. In 2013, she married Anton delos Reyes who is a member of the basketball coaching staff of Mapua Basketball team.
Katya and Anton are blessed with a daughter named Tala.
Though she still spends some time for herself like being at the gym to keep herself healthy and fit, she is now devoting most of her time taking of her daughter.
