During the time when Kris Aquino and her mother former President Cory Aquino were visiting former Senator Ninoy Aquino in his detention cell in Fort Santiago, there was an unusual thing that the Queen of all Media did.
Back then, Kris was just 3 or 4 years old and until now it is still vivid in her memories.
Based on the article published in Bandera which entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin penned, the social media influencer shared that every time they visited the late Senator in his jail, Cory would always fill her baby bag with all sorts of candies.
On the other hand, underneath the sweets were strips of beef for her father. Apparently, steak is one of Ninoy’s favorite foods.
Since the guards will not look intently in her bag full of candies, her father will be able to eat his favorite steak that her mother personally cooked.

That was not the only thing that Kris did during her visit to her father. It was said that she had to be submerged in a drum full of water every time they pay a visit to the late Senator.
It is for the reason that the reception area of Ninoy’s detention jail has no enough ventilation.
It was always humid and Kris felt uncomfortable with that. The drum full of water served as her little swimming pool and she felt ease every time she was being submerged in it.
Based on the article, Kris Aquino knows what it feels like that a home has no father figure because she experienced that when her father was incarcerated.
That is the reason why she is so protective to her sons, Josh and Bimby. Aside from that, she is also doing her best to fulfill the role of a father to her children.
