Mike de Leon fired back to Atom Araullo’s response to his previous rant and he said to the journalist, “This is called narcissism”.
Movie director Mike de Leon fired back to the statement of Atom Araullo regarding his previous tirade.
The conflict between the director and lead actor of the movie ‘Citizen Jake’ started when Direk Mike said that he is disappointed to Atom as a person.
In the midst of the movie promotion, Atom chose not to talk about the said issue but just recently he addressed the matter through his Facebook post.

With regards to the answer of the journalist to the rant of the movie director, the latter immediately replied.
Mike de Leon said that Atom disrespected him as a director.
“You unexpectedly ignored my direction and did something that was not rehearsed nor agreed upon,” the director said to Atom.
He iterated that as an actor Atom is okay but his lack of empathy to other people makes him a bad journalist.
Mike also slammed the journalist for cringing when someone calls him a celebrity or a star.
“And you say you cringe at being called a celebrity, a star. How hypocritical. Don’t bother to cringe anymore because you revel in it,” he said.
The movie director also revealed in his post that Atom’s performance in ‘Citizen Jake’ was enhanced and fixed in editing.
He also addressed Atom’s statement that he endured a lot in doing the movie. Direk Mike said that he had to do that also.
“I had to endure your superciliousness, your overweening ego, your disparaging remarks about movie people and actors, even your lack of manners,” the director blasted.
Mike even said that he felt like he had to deal with the whole Araullo clan because Atom once said he tells everything to his parents and it seemed that he had to wait for their approval regarding everything in the film.
“Stop pretending to want to embrace the universe, when all the time, you only want to embrace yourself. This is called narcissism,” Mike de Leon stated.
