The said messages were sort of encouraging people to donate money for the students whose parents can’t afford to send them to school which the alleged scammer called as to ‘adopt’ children.

A bank account number was even given by the said person to where the donors can send their money.

On the other hand, Neri Miranda said on her caption that she is not asking any money.  By this, the alleged scammer is using her name to ask monetary help from the possible donors.

She warned the public not to believe if there is someone who will introduce themselves as member of her staff or a school teacher.

The celebrity mom gave her own email address to where she can be contacted personally.

“Eto po ang email add kung saan ako po mismo ang makakausap nyo [email protected] pakidouble check din po ang mga mag eemail sa inyo lalo na ang mga tao sa ibang bansa baka hingan kayo ng kung anu ano,” the entrepreneur mom said on her post.

In line with this, netizens expressed their thoughts regarding the said modus of the alleged scammer.

Several netizens laughed about the wrong term that the alleged scammer used in her message and they said that it can easily be noticed that it was fake because of that.

There are those who were saddened because there are people who are taking advantage and chose to do wrong acts just to earn money.
