Kapamilya hunk actor Sam Milby finally break his silence on the current relationship of his ex-girlfriend model Mari Jasmine to ‘Baka Bukas’ director Samantha Lee.
It can be recalled that the revelation of the relationship of the two female celebrities brought shock to many.
Based on a previous article, the couple revealed their relationship through their posts on Instagram.
They shared photos taken during the celebration of the Pride Month which was an event for the members of LGBTQ community.
With this, Sam Milby revealed his thoughts regarding Mari Jasmine’s new relationship.
According to a report posted on the website of PEP, the Kapamilya actor said that he is happy for his ex-girlfriend.
He added a clarification that Mari’s current love life did not overlap on what they previously had.
The singer-actor wanted also to stress out that people should not think that the reason why his relationship with Mari ended is because of the ‘Baka Bukas’ director.
“I’m happy for her. And I want to make it clear, there was no overlapping in terms of that relationship,” he said during an interview last July 13.
Sam also said that behind their break up, he and Mari manage to be okay with each other.
“We’re okay. Hindi naman kami nag-uusap like friends in that sense, but we’re okay,” the Kapamilya star shared, based on the report.
Sam Milby and Mari Jasmine broke up early this year. The actor revealed their separation last March after two years of being together.
Mari and Samantha previously reacted to the headlines still associating the model’s name with her ex-boyfriend.
The couple wanted to stress out that Mari has her own identity and she does not need to live in the shadow of Sam’s name.
