Singer Jay-r Siaboc Surrenders To Police, Drug Usage?
Jay-r Siaboc Surrenders – Singer Jay-r Siaboc, Pinoy Dream Academy (PDA) runner up recently surrendered to the police in Toledo City, Cebu, fearing for his life as rumors spread on social media saying that he was a drug pusher.
According to a report by Cebu Daily News, the 29-year-old singer told Supt. Samuel Mina Jr. that he wants to change his life for good.
There are a total of 528 drug suspects who surrendered to the Toledo City Police Office led by Supt. Mina Jr., including Siaboc.
Mina explained that Siaboc surrendered together with his wife and cousin at the office last Tuesday morning. Siaboc admitted that has been using drugs with his wife but denied that he is a pusher.
Just like the others, Siaboc has undergone a tactical interrogation and told the police he is getting his ‘supply’ from his friends in Barangat Awihao.
He will be monitored by the police after signing a waiver.
The authorities have said in the report that Siaboc needs to undergo drug rehabilitation just like the other surrenderees for them to be changed for the better.
P02 Joselito Genon from the Toledo police said that Siaboc surrendered because he is fearing about his life.
Siaboc’s wife posted on Facebook that they are willing to be investigated as to make their name cleared. According to her, their life is an open book.
Eduardo Siaboc Jr. was the voice behind the music hits entitled “Hiling” and “May Tama Rin Ako.”
Siaboc also became the runner up of Pinoy Dream Academy wherein Yeng Constantino became the Grand Star Winner.
