Suzette Doctolero answers the criticisms of Ogie Diaz to a CPR scene in Kapuso teleserye ‘Kambal, Karibal’
Kapuso headwriter and creative consultant Suzette Doctolero answered back to Kapamilya comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz.
It can be recalled that the Ogie took to Facebook his response to the criticisms of Suzette towards the Kapamilya fantaserye ‘Bagani’ which is being starred by his talent Liza Soberano.
Based on a previous article, the comedian/talent manager said that the Kapuso writer should notice first the flaw in the shows in her home network before noticing its rival network.
He cited a video of ‘Kambal, Karibal’ showing the unrealistic way of conducting CPR , which is now deleted.
“At sa pagkakataong ito, hindi para magsabi akong mali ang ginawa ng talent na nurse sa pasyente. Gusto ko pa ring isiping mahusay din yung nurse sa pag-pray over,” Ogie said on his post.
With regards to this criticism from the Kapamilya comedian, Suzette Doctolero also took to Facebook her answer.
Based on the article published in Inquirer, the Kapuso writer said that Ogie’s argument is too shallow and irrelevant because she was pointing out about the cultural value allegedly being disrespected by ‘Bagani’ as they wrongly depicted ‘babaylan’ on her previous post.
On the other hand, according to the writer, what the comedian was pointing out is just a minor issue and it is understandable.
“Kung ganito kababaw ang gustong argumento, pwede ko ring ibato ang marami ding directorial booboos na naganap dyan pero no, di ko gustong puntahan ang level na iyan lalo’t alam kong halos 24 oras na nagtatrabaho ang production people ng lahat ng network so hindi maiaalis na magkaroon talaga ng ganyang palpak sa kahit saang show, sa kahit saang channel,” she pointed out.
Suzette did not name who she was referring to but she added that she is not after the network, instead it was her values towards the culture that makes her criticize other shows, based on the source.
“Ayusin ang argumento bago sumabak sa gyera. Isip pa. Huwag shallow and petty. Huwag ding masyadong butthurt sa puna ko lalo at pinupuri ko at ene endorso sa aking fb page ang magagandang pelikulang inilalabas ninyo so wala akong pake sa network war. Stand ko ito as a Filipino,” she said in her post.
