The judges of Tawag Ng Tanghalan segment of ‘It’s Showtime’ received bashing from several netizens for choosing resbaker Ato Arman over resbaker Aila Santos.
On May 22, Ato and Aila performed once again on the stage of the popular singing contest on television.
Ato sang “Never Surrender” of Corey Hart while Aila chose to perform the “Through The Fire” of Chaka Khan.
As expected, the two resbakers gave out their best and that resulted to a very wonderful performance which made Vice Ganda say that it was like grand finals already, based on a report published in PEP.
Due to their performances, the ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ judges had to do a discussion with each other to better decide who will win that round.
Jaya said that she chooses the resbaker who delivered the song more smoothly, although she admitted that both performances are really remarkable.
Judge Kyla also reverberates the statement from the Soul Diva and she pointed out that the cleanliness of performance is what matters to her the most.
That is also the point of view of Yeng Constantino while Erik Santos said that he chooses the one who he can feel the sincerity.
And they all choose, Ato Arman.
In relation to the decision of the TNT judges, several netizens expressed their thoughts about it.

With regards to the bashing that TNT judges received from netizens, Vice Ganda immediately tweeted to appease the tension.
Aila Santos, on the other hand, thanked all her supporters on her Twitter account.
