Does Troy Montero have a good relationship with Aubrey Miles’ first son?
TROY MONTERO – Actor Troy Montero revealed his relationship with the first son of his partner Aubrey Miles named Maurie.
Troy Montero and actress-television host Aubrey Miles are in a relationship for several years already. The celebrity couple now shares a nine-year-old son named Hunter.
Based on a report in Pep, Hunter is Aubrey Miles’ second son. Her first son is Maurie whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend JP Obligacion.
According to the report, Maurie was just two years old when Troy Montero and Aubrey Miles started dating.
In an interview with the source, the actor expressed that he does not consider himself as a stepfather to his partner’s first son as he was very young when he started dating his mother.
Troy said that he never had to explain himself to Maurie and it was “very easy” for him. He stressed that he treats Maurie and Hunter the same.
According to the actor, Maurie respects him and he praises his sons the same.
During his appearance on ABS-CBN’s morning program Magandang Buhay, the 16-year-old boy considered Troy Montero as his real father.
According to Maurie, Troy knows how to take care of him and he supports him. He expressed that he treats him “really well” and they are very close to each other.
In raising their sons, Troy expressed that Aubrey often has to take the “bad cop” role whenever they would discipline Maurie and Hunter although they try to keep their roles equal.
He admitted that he cannot go away from the disappointed look of his partner whenever he would try to be on his sons’ side.
“She’ll be dishing it out and I’ll say, ‘Yeah, what your mom said,’” he said.
Meanwhile, based on the report, Troy Montero makes sure that he also takes the “bad cop” role once in a while so that their sons won’t always run to him as Aubrey’s angry.
Troy Montero and his brother KC Montero are currently busy doing media rounds for the new travel show, The Worst Vacation Ever.
