Kanye West Said He Wants Christian TikTok He Calls “Jesus Tok”
CHRISTIAN TIKTOK – Rap icon Kanye West expressed his dismay over the content available on the popular social media platform, TikTok.
Kanye, who had been a reformed Christian, took to Twitter to share his thoughts regarding the state of the content on TikTok. In his Tweets, Kanye wrote:
WE PRAY WE CAN COLLABORATE WITH TIK TOK TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN MONITORED VERSION THAT FEELS SAFE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN AND THE WORLD IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

Currently, there is no filter mechanism on TikTok. As such, parents, especially conservative ones, have a hard time monitoring the type of content their children sees. Furthermore, TikTok pushes the content you interact with and you can either skip or view the videos the app handpicks for you.
According to an article from the LadBible, TikTok already catered to millions of kids and teenagers around the world. Because of this, a complete overhaul of the app to include filtering content would be difficult.
TikTok has been the most downloaded app beating out social media platform giants such as Facebook and Twitter. Meanwhile, an article from Oberlo reported that the app has been downloaded two billion times since April 2020.
Along with this, 41% of TikTok’s users are mostly aged between 16 and 24-years-old. However, kids below the age of 16 could still easily access the app and its content.
