The Origin of the Title “Comedy Concert Queen” Tagged to AiAi Delas Alas
AiAi Delas Alas in known as the “Comedy Concert Queen” here in the Philippines. Aside from being a comedian she is also a host and actress at the same time in the GMA Kapuso Network.
On Wednesday (August 10, 2016) in the press conference of the comedian she said that she don’t expect to perform with other veterans in showbiz industry in terms of entertainment and to sold out concert tickets in the biggest concert venues here in the country.
A few years ago Mr. Martin Nievera is the one who gave the title “Comedy Concert Queen” to AiAi without the knowledge of everyone. That time Zsazsa Padilla, Popz Fernandez, and other performers were the people who can sold out the tickets in their concerts through singing because they can really sing.
AiAi said she was not a singer so Martin gives her that new title for her. “All of them were performing in Folk arts Araneta then they suddenly invite me to sing but I don’t really sing,” she added.
