Darren Espanto and Russian performer received standing ovation for their performance in ‘Singer 2019’.
SINGER 2019 – The Kapamilya artist Darren Espanto and Russia’s Polina Gagarina received a standing ovation for their heart-warming performance in China’s “Singer 2019”.
The “Singer 2019” is dubbed as one of the biggest singing competition in China to where KZ Tandingan has joined as one of the contenders last year and for this year, Darren Espanto appeared as a guest performer.
In front of their Chinese audience, Espanto along with other performers, showed and flaunted their vocal powers.He was chosen by the producers of the Hunan TV show back in January to join Russian singer Polina Gagarina, Daneliya Tuleshova, and AIR to perform during the grand finals of the competition. They performed “We Are The World” to which has earned a standing ovation.

Before flying to China, Tandingan gave the young male singer a piece of advice. Espanto shared, “Isa siya sa unang nag-react. Sinabi ko na na-meet ko ‘yung mga taga-The Singer, and she was so supportive of me. Sabi niya, ‘’Wag kang kakabahan. Alam mong marami kang pagdadaanan diyan.’ She was already giving me ‘yung mga Mandarin songs na parang bagay sa ‘kin, [na] dapat aralin ko na if ever. Until now, she’s just very supportive and excited for me as well.”
