Gab Valenciano Reacts to Critics Claiming He Wasted His Effort During Campaign
GAB VALENCIANO – The son of Mr Pure Energy Gary Valenciano expresses his reactions to critics claiming he just wasted his effort during the campaign.
Gab goes on a rant against critics who say he spent his time attending Vice President Leni Robredo’s rallies because his candidate was also defeated in an interview with Ogie Diaz. He stated that he has no misgivings about his vote for Robredo.
Robredo’s opponent, presumptive president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., received more than 16,000,000 votes. Gab claims that his support for Robredo is unaffected by whether or not his candidate wins.
“Ang dami daming nagsasabi saakin na mga bashers, parang ‘sayang lang effort mo, talo naman kayo.’ For me, it’s not even about winning or losing it’s about doing the right thing. Para saakin, duon palang panalo na kami. This is more than just winning or losing. Siyempre for the Filipino people. But at the end of the day, it really starts from kung sino ka as a person,” he said.
“Let’s start duon muna bago natin i-chage yung buong Pilipinas. Let’s change within ourselves. Thankfully with me, yun yung focus ko din. Not just para makita si tito Kiko manalo or si VP Leni. It was really about becoming a better person and the best version of myself. Which I think na-attain ko siya during this campaign. Not just physically but mentally, emotionally. And in turn, I got to inspire people na rin,” he added.
Gab went popular on social media after his performance at Robredo’s rally, as you may recall. He was then accompanied by his father, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, who was there to support him. Senator Kiko Pangilinan gave him the nickname “Mr Renewable Energy.”
