For Roderick Cabrido’s new horror project, the award-winning director chose Kim Chiu, Tony Labrusca, and JM De Guzman to play the role in a Filipino adaptation of an Indian movie.
During the story conference last Thursday, December 5, Roderick Cabrido shared about the project.
“Kakaiba siyang horror film for me kasi may social commentary siya. And then, ang maganda sa kaniya, malaki ang moral lesson,” Roderick Cabrido said. “Hindi lang siya basta horror na tatakutin ka and mag-eenjoy ka, and then wala kang bibitbitin. It is something na informative“
This was the first time that Kim Chiu, Tony Labrusca, and JM De Guzman will go together for the said project.
“I’m very happy to do another horror movie with the award-winning director,” Kim Chiu said. “So looking forward ako — sabi nga niya, nakakapagod basahin yung script. Let’s see kung anong pagod namin sa set, I’m sure it’s going to be worth it.”
Though the title of the movie was not yet revealed as of this writing, Kim Chiu and Tony Labrusca will play as News Reporter/Journalists, while JM De Guzman will play as police.
“Ako naman, first time kong maging reporter ever,” Kim Chiu added. “So aaralin ko yung mga galaw nila, and nagma-marathon naman ako so medyo kaya ko naman tumakbo takbo.“
