Koko Pimentel- Senate Committee Won’t Investigate On The Said Poll Frauds
There’s no reason for Senate Committee on Electoral Reform to investigate the said fraud last election. According to Senator Aquilino “Koko Pimentel III, chairman of committee, the evidence presented by three witnesses is not sufficient.
The three, including Pastor Boy Saycon, Council of Philippine Affairs or COPA, went to the Senate last Monday to reveal their knowledge about the alleged fraud.
The three witnesses said that they manipulated the vote counting machine Quezon to make an “additional deduction” in the votes.
In the report of balita.net, the three cited that the Liberal Party maneuvered the alleged fraud which the party immediately denied the issue.
According to Pimentel, he is not convinced by the statement of the said witnesses and that he waived the investigation to the Commission on Elections.
He said, aside for the inadequate evidences, the Senate has no enough time to investigate.
Even the Comelec is also not convinced by the statement of the three witnesses because he claimed that there are many holders of VCM but neither one of them said that there’s a fraud occured.
