Korina Sanchez Talks About Trolls And What Made Her Hit Back
KORINA SANCHEZ ON TROLLS – Being a veteran anchor that’s vocal about certain issues, Korina Sanchez is no stranger to internet trolling.
However, she said that the reason she finally clapped back at the trolls was because of the attacks on her home network – ABS-CBN. According to an article by Pep, Sanchez said:
I decided to make patol the trolls when they were attacking ABS-CBN
Along with this, the actor also admitted that her network has made mistakes. However, because she was with the network for so long, she said she had to defend it.
I’m not saying ABS-CBN is perfect. I know that for a fact.
I’ve been with them since day one, when freedom of the press was restored by Cory Aquino,

At that moment, Korena told herself that she would finally read the negative comments on her social media account. Apparently, Sanchez’ digital accounts were “sanitized” to filter out negative comments. But, when it came to ABS-CBN, she told her team “Pakita niyo na nga sa akin..I wanna see everything”.
Furthermore, upon going through some of the public profiles of the trolls, Sanchez expressed dismay on how shallow the arguments were. She added that trolls were just “soft targets” for her. So, Instead of being affected by their words, she said that she’d rather play with them. As per the article, Sanchez said:
“Knowing all of that, papatulan ko pa ba ‘yan? Hindi. Lalaruin ko na lang sila.“
She also boasted that there were fewer trolls on her social media now and said one of the reasons might be because the trolls were tired of being beaten.
