Kris Aquino New Movie With Piolo Pascual? Actress Reveals Details
KRIS AQUINO & PIOLO PASCUAL – Even with her massive success in showbiz, the Queen of All Media said she still had something she wanted to do.
“I want to produce that movie and write that script. And I want Piolo Pascual to be my leading man“.
According to an article from Pep, Kris wanted to write and produce a horror film that captures the true essence of marriage. Kris added that she wanted to give a mature take on a split relationship and what children go through.
Along with this, the actress also said that she wanted her sons, Bimby and Iñigo to be cast in the film. “Hindi masamang mangarap. And I want the two sons there to be Iñigo and Bimb. May casting na! May synopsis na”, the actress said.
But, what will Kris’ new horror flick be about?
As per the article, Kris wanted to give a representation of what a broken marriage is like through the perspective of a child in his early teens and 20s. She emphasized that people need to see this point of view since to her, it really is the children who suffers more during a break-up.
“Kasi, sometimes, marriages do break up not because of a third party. So… and I want this told from the point of view of a child in his early teens, and one in his early 20s. “Because we deserve to see it—from their point of view dahil sila talaga ang nagsa-suffer“.
Initially, Derek Ramsay would’ve played the role of the leading man. However, the actor backed out and the film set for the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival was put on hold.
But, would this pave the way for the Aquino/Pascual team-up Kris has been looking for?
